The Testaments of One Fold and One Shepherd, a 65-minute epic film, depicts events from the life and ministry of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament and the Book of Mormon. The DVD, which contains the film in 18 languages, can be ordered by phone (1-800-537-5971) or online. You can also watch a trailer of the film before ordering.

The Mountain Meadows Massacre

September 11 marks the anniversary of the 1857 massacre of some 120 California-bound emigrants in southern Utah. An article by Richard E. Turley Jr., the managing director for the Family and Church History Department, will be printed in the September 2007 Ensign magazine, but you can read it online now. 

Pioneer Day Commemoration Concert

Echoes of the Tabernacle, a Pioneer Day commemoration concert by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, was held on Friday, July 20, 2007. Because of copyright restrictions, there are no online archives of the concert. 

General Conference and Other Recent Meetings

For general conference, online text and audio archives are available for personal study and, as President Hinckley recommended, for use in family home evenings. Archives are also available for the general Young Women meeting and the February 2007 worldwide leadership training.

The new site includes multimedia and the option for nonmembers to “chat live” with missionaries (Church members should not use the chat feature). Family Home Storage and Finances

On the Provident Living Web site, the Family Home Storage channel and the Family Finances channel have been updated with resources to help you prepare for adversity. Among the available resources are two new pamphlets that teach the basics of home food storage and financial preparedness.

CES Fireside for Young Adults
